NARU Education Centre

The National Ambulance Resilience Unit Education Centre is based within the Defence Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Centre (DCBRNC) at Winterbourne Gunner, about 5km north-east of Salisbury, Wiltshire, on the southern edge of Salisbury Plain.

DCBRNC has a history dating back to 1917, and has become the centre of excellence for the British armed forces in CBRN.  It designs and delivers course to serving personnel as well as training instructors. We have developed an excellent working relationship with our Military hosts, and have access to their purpose built training facilities. NARU have also developed a range of realistic training facilities which enables us to deliver high quality practical training scenarios.
